Chassis Inspection System
Inspection system that evaluates the final assembled unit, checking presence, dimensions and
reference points.
In this implementation, the system consists of a RACK and a mobile imager.
Checks presence/absence of components, fasteners and welds.
Measures coordinates between mounting holes and references.
Detects trends and alerts for repetitive failures.
Allows on-site rework.
Generates a serial label with manufacturer/customer code.
Objective production and inspection reporting.
High speed, approximately ½ chassis/minute, resolution [±0.1 mm]
Travel range of ~1 to 20 meters.
