About Propertech
Propertech Tecnologia is a Brazilian engineering company based in Jacareí, SP, specialized in industrial machine vision systems, special automation, electronic equipment and scientific applications.
Our history
Propertech's roots trace back to Proper-3E, founded in 1988. The company was formally established as Propertech Tecnologia Ltda. in 1999 and has since worked in engineering, mechatronics, special automation, systems and electronic equipment manufacturing, machine vision and scientific applications, from its headquarters at Condomínio Indusvale (CDTI - Bloco 41), in Jacareí, in the interior of São Paulo state, Brazil.
What we do
- Machine Vision Systems: automated metrology, camera-based inspection and quality control;
- Special Automation: electronic equipment, wireless sensors and custom test rigs;
- Scientific Applications: consulting and research projects with institutes and universities;
- Electronics and mechatronics: design and manufacturing of proprietary systems, from hardware to software.
Technology and the Microsoft ecosystem
For more than 20 years Propertech has built its solutions on the Microsoft stack: Windows, Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure, with the C# language and WPF. The company's founder holds 2 Microsoft certifications and actively participates in the Microsoft community, including events such as Microsoft Build and .NET Conf.
Scientific partnerships
Propertech has extensive experience in scientific and institutional projects. It developed the data-acquisition electronics and flight software for the Masco project, created by the high-energy astrophysics division of INPE (Brazil's National Institute for Space Research) to image the sky in X-rays. It also carried out data acquisition and mission control for the SolarT and HATS solar telescopes, which operate in the TeraHertz range on high-altitude stratospheric flights, in collaboration with the University of California, Berkeley (GRIPS experiment).
