About Propertech

Propertech brings together more than 25 years of experience across two complementary engineering disciplines: precision optical instrumentation and imaging — applied to industry, medicine and aerospace programs — and software development, computer vision and deep learning (convolutional neural networks and Vision Transformers). Along the way, it has developed machine vision systems for automated metrology, high-speed inspection, valve inspection, sealing ring inspection, glass inspection, tube inspection, engine inspection, cylinder head gasket inspection, automotive chassis inspection and character reading (OCR), along with special automation solutions and scientific applications in partnership with research institutes. The company has operated from its headquarters at Condomínio Indusvale (CDTI - Bloco 41), in Jacareí, in the interior of São Paulo state — close to the city of São Paulo and set within the Rio de Janeiro–São Paulo industrial corridor, a region home to major automotive, aerospace and technology industries.

Propertech designs complete systems — from optics and image capture to processing and control — without depending on off-the-shelf solutions from foreign suppliers. Software development runs on the Microsoft stack (Windows, Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure), with the C# and C++ languages, combining high-level applications with real-time hardware control.

Propertech has extensive experience in scientific and institutional projects, with optical and imaging instrumentation applied to aerospace programs and astronomical research. It developed the data-acquisition electronics and flight software for the Masco project, created by the high-energy astrophysics division of INPE (Brazil's National Institute for Space Research) to image the sky in X-rays. It also carried out data acquisition and mission control for the SolarT and HATS solar telescopes, which operate in the TeraHertz range on high-altitude stratospheric flights, in collaboration with the University of California, Berkeley (GRIPS experiment).
